Stuart Goldstein advises manufacturers, businesses, entrepreneurs, and individual inventors on product design and development, product integrity, and protecting patent and trademark ownership rights in order to make the most of their marketability and commercial success.
Mr. Goldstein is experienced in intellectual property matters involving industrial and consumer products as well as equipment and systems within the mechanical, electrical, and marine disciplines. He worked as a patent examiner in the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in Alexandria, Virginia, attaining primary examiner status in his designated disciplines. Since 1978, Stuart has been registered to practice before the USPTO as a patent attorney (Registration #22817), specializing in patent application prosecution and related litigation. Receiving patent approval from the USPTO is a complex, bureaucratic task, requiring years of training and hands-on experience. Stuart is also experienced in the registration of federal trademarks, which are obtained by application to the USPTO as well.
