Matthew Mortimer is an Associate with Ricci Tyrrell Johnson & Grey. Prior to joining Ricci Tyrrell as an Associate in 2018, Mr. Mortimer worked as a law clerk with the firm throughout his years as a law student. Mr. Mortimer is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and is sitting for the New Jersey Bar Exam in February of 2019.
Mr. Mortimer graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2014 where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and completed a minor in History. At graduation, Mr. Mortimer was awarded the “Student of the Year” award for graduating with the Highest Cumulative Grade Point Average in his major. Mr. Mortimer earned his Juris Doctor from the Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2018, earning a Certificate in Trial Advocacy. While at Temple, Mr. Mortimer achieved the highest grade in his Pennsylvania Civil Procedure course.
Mr. Mortimer is an avid supporter of all Philadelphia athletic teams. He is a season ticket holder for the Philadelphia Eagles. Mr. Mortimer is a graduate of Cardinal O’Hara High School where he played varsity basketball and baseball. He has remained a devoted supporter of youth sports in his hometown by coaching his elementary school Our Lady of Perpetual Help’s varsity basketball team in Morton, PA.
